Dab Rite provides the end user a limited warranty for manufacturing defects. This is in addition to any rights and remedies that you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
This limited manufacturer’s warranty is not intended to: (a) unlawfully exclude, limit or otherwise affect any rights under consumer law; or (b) limit, exclude or otherwise affect any right you have against any non-Dab Rite entity who sold the Dab Rite product to you if that entity has breached their sales contract with you.
WHAT IS COVERED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY:
Dab Rite warrants to the original end-user (“Purchaser”) of an authentic Dab Rite-branded product (“Product”) that the Product shall be free of defects in design, assembly, material, or workmanship, subject to the provisions below.
WHAT IS THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD?
The Limited Warranty Period begins on the date the product was purchased by the Purchaser and lasts for the period set out in the table below. A claim under this warranty is only eligible if it is made within the Limited Warranty Period.

THE LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY:
- To any Dab Rite-branded Products that are resold by the Purchaser or that are purchased from unauthorized resellers or unauthorized retailers. Dab Rite does not authorize resellers to sell on online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay or Walmart.com.
- Where a Product’s lack of performance is due to the Purchaser’s failure to properly maintain the Product.
- If the Product has been used with aftermarket accessories not designed for use with the product.
- If damage to the Product is cosmetic, including scratches and dents, or if lack of performance is caused by normal wear and tear or normal aging of the product. By way of example, the Limited Warranty does not cover the standard performance degradation of batteries. Purchasers should note that batteries are replaceable parts with a limited warranty of 6 months, and battery life can vary depending on usage. We do offer battery replacement for a nominal fee.
- If Dab Rite determines that Purchaser has improperly used, neglected, altered or tampered with the Product in any way. Purchaser assumes the risk or liability for loss arising from misuse, alteration of Product or failure to follow instructions provided in user’s manual.
- Improper use includes but is not limited to:
- Plastic melting by placing the sensor head closer than recommended to your banger or another heat source
- Water/liquid damage
- Loss or theft
- Dropping or mishandling the device in any way
- If warranty claim is made fraudulently or by misrepresentation.
- If the serial number on the product has been altered, defaced, or removed.
DAB RITE’S PROMISE TO YOU:
If a valid warranty claim is made during the Limited Warranty Period, Dab Rite will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, any defective Product. Dab Rite does not cover the cost of shipping to our warranty center, it is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser. Replacement products may be a refurbished or a reconditioned Product of the same model. If a model is a limited edition, there is no guarantee that the replacement will be for the same model due to limited amounts. Another model will be offered in its place.
All Products and parts that are replaced become the property of Dab Rite.
Dab Rite can only ship replacement or repaired products to the country where the original Product was purchased.
If purchased Product(s) are out of the warranty period and you would like your Product inspected for a repair, we offer several services for a small fee. Please email help@dabrite.com or fill out the contact form on dabrite.com/contact to have Dab Rite Support issue a repair authorization.
HOW DO I FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM?
If you have a question about your product or experience a problem with it, please go to dabrite.com/support to read the FAQS and other help tools for information on products.
To request service under this warranty, contact Dab Rite at help@dabrite.com or dabrite.com/contact, and Dab Rite Support will provide instructions on how to proceed.
To make a claim under the Limited Warranty, you must provide the defective Product and a copy of the original receipt of purchase to Dab Rite for inspection. The receipt of purchase must indicate the Product purchased, price paid, date of purchase, and name of merchant.
To make a claim under the Limited Warranty, you must also obtain an RMA number from Dab Rite Support before returning a product. Products returned without an issued RMA number are not processed and will be returned to you or destroyed. If a Product is returned with an incomplete RMA form, you will have 72 hours to complete the RMA form otherwise the Product will be returned to you or destroyed. Dab Rite will cover return shipping to you provided repair or replacement service was necessary. International return shipping must be paid for by the customer. If repair or replacement was not necessary due to the item being deemed not defective, Purchaser will be assessed a $20 fee for inspection and return shipping.
Returns must go to the address provided with your RMA # provided by Dab Rite Support. If items are returned to any address other than the specified address provided by Dab Rite Support, Dab Rite cannot guarantee that the item will be located and processed for warranty support.
Postal service carriers require that all items be cleaned prior to mailing. If items are mailed to Dab Rite uncleaned, Dab Rite may, in its sole discretion, either dispose of the item or charge a $50 cleaning fee before returning the item.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Once the item arrives at the address specified by Dab Rite Customer Support, it will be inspected for any possible defects. Dab Rite Customer Support will contact you once they receive the results of the investigation. If the item is deemed to be defective, it will be replaced/repaired under this warranty. If it is deemed not to be defective, Purchaser will be charged $20 to cover inspection and return shipping.
GENERAL EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS WHERE IT CAN LAWFULLY DO SO, AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DAB RITE, ITS RESELLERS AND ITS SUPPLIERS HEREBY DISCLAIM AND EXCLUDE ALL OTHER WARRANTIES DIFFERENT FROM THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, EXPRESS, STATUTORY OR IMPLIED. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY DAB RITE, A DEALER, AGENT OR AFFILIATE SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY DIFFERENT FROM THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. TO THE EXTENT WARRANTIES CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED OR EXCLUDED, THEY ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE RELEVANT EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DAB RITE, ITS AFFILIATES, ASSOCIATES, DEALERS, AGENTS OR SUPPLIERS OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, LICENSORS AND ASSIGNS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE) ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF DAB RITE OR SUCH OTHER ENTITIES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF DAB RITE, ITS AFFILIATES, ASSOCIATES, DEALERS, AGENTS OR SUPPLIERS TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE PRICE YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT. THIS LIMITATION IS CUMULATIVE AND WILL NOT BE INCREASED BY THE EXISTENCE OF MORE THAN ONE INCIDENT OR CLAIM. THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS WILL APPLY EVEN IF ANY WARRANTY OR REMEDY PROVIDED FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
REFERENCES IN THIS SECTION TO “SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL LOSSES” SHALL MEAN ANY LOSSES WHICH (I) WERE NOT REASONABLY FORESEEABLE BY BOTH PARTIES, AND/OR (II) WERE KNOWN TO YOU BUT NOT TO US AND/OR (III) WERE REASONABLY FORESEEABLE BY BOTH PARTIES BUT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED BY YOU SUCH AS, FOR EXAMPLE (BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION), LOSSES CAUSED BY VIRUSES, TROJANS OR OTHER MALICIOUS PROGRAMS, OR LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO YOUR DATA.
THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES SET OUT IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE EXCLUSIVE, AND, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OF LIABILITY FOR INJURIES, OR OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
