The Dab Rite™ sensor is made to measure high heat and will only display temperature ranges between 200°F and 800°F. Any temperature above or below those will read as “Low” or “Too Hot.”
To use, line the sensor up with the bottom of your heated banger. When the LED beam guide is on, the beam should align with the edge of your banger so the sensor is centered as shown to the left.
The ideal range for the sensor is between .5” and 1.5” away from the bottom of the banger.
Our proprietary Sensor Shield is a gasketed silica lens that allows for IR passthrough, while preventing debris and oil from penetrating the barrel, and allowing the user to wipe down the exterior without harming the sensor.
The Dab Rite’s™ sensor is equipped with an LED guide that makes it easy to know if your sensor is aligned with your banger.
To turn the guide on and off, triple click the ‘right’ button. When the guide is on, the LED beam icon shown to the left will be displayed on the screen.
The silicone covers serve two purposes. (1) It protects the sensor and (2) provides a safe place to store your carb cap.
Use to navigate each option
To power on your Dab Rite™, press and hold the power button down for one second until the screen illuminates.
To power off, press and hold the power button down for three seconds.
The Dab Rite™ will automatically turn off if it is left on and unused for five minutes.
The Dab Rite’s™ main feature is alerting you when your desired temperature is reached.
To set the temperature, press the ‘menu’ button once until you see the screen to the left. From here, use the left and right buttons to choose your temperature.
Once selected, press the menu/set button and use the left and right buttons to choose the temperature scale of Fahrenheit (F) or Celsius (C).
Press the menu button again to move onto the next screen.
When the Light Alert is on, the icon will appear on the display. When the set temperature is reached, the screen with flash for three seconds to let you know it is time to dab.
To set the Light Alert, scroll to the screen shown to the left after setting your temperature. Using the left and right buttons, turn the Light Alert on or off.
Press the menu button again to move onto the next screen.
When the Sound Alert is on, the icon will appear on the display. When the set temperature is reached, the unit will ding for three seconds to let you know it is time to dab. When both are on, both icons appear and the unit will flash and ding simultaneously.
To set the Sound Alert, scroll to the screen shown to the left after setting your Light Alert. Using the left and right buttons, turn the Sound Alert on or off.
Press the menu button again to move onto the next screen.
The Dab Rite™ has built-in emissivity settings that have been calibrated to quartz and opaque quartz bangers so it’s easy to switch between banger types.
To set the Banger Type, scroll to the screen shown to the left after setting your Sound Alert. Using the left and right buttons, choose between quartz and opaque quartz.
Press the menu button again to exit to the main display screen.
Plug the provided USB-C cable into the charging port to charge the unit. When the Dab Rite™ is on the battery icon will display the charge in the upper left. When the unit is powered off and charging, the charging icon will appear large on the screen as shown to the left.

The Dab RiteTM comes with a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery and has a battery icon in the upper left of the display that shows the battery’s life.
We recommend charging the device for 1-2 hours prior to the first use and again when it drops below 25%.

The silicone cover protects the sensor from accidental melting, but is not burn proof! Be careful to keep your sensor the recommended distance from your banger.
Different concentrates and the compounds found in them all vary when it comes to vaporizing temperatures. We recommend the following as a starting point, but encourage you to get your unit dialed in to your specific needs. The following is just a guide and will vary from person to person based upon personal preference.

This is a common issue that can occur, especially when using a Slurper type banger. We recommend moving your dab rig away from your Dab Rite’s sensor when placing your oil into the banger to reduce the likelihood of accidental splatters.
Try the following first:
1. Take a chopstick or wooden tooth pick (small piece of soft wood) or a pipe cleaner and using a soft piece of cloth or paper towel dipped in 99% isopropyl alcohol, carefully rub away any debris from the sensor’s lens, which is located at the bottom of the gold barrel.
2. Lightly swab out any remaining debris with a cotton swab
3. Repeat if necessary

All warranty claims must be accompanied by a proof of purchase. Dab RitesTM are tamper evident – opening your unit for any reason will void your warranty.

Orders take roughly 3-5 business days to process through our fulfillment center under normal circumstances. You’ll receive an automatic shipping email with a tracking number as soon as your order has shipped.

Throughout the Holiday season, please anticipate up to 7 business days for order processing due to the increased volume of orders.
If your order has not been shipped (you haven’t received a shipping confirmation email) please send an email to help@dabrite.com and we will do our best to get to the order before it ships, but we cannot guarantee it.
USPS scans and actual delivery times can vary, if your order hasn’t arrived within 24 hours of your USPS tracking marking your order as delivered, please first ask a neighbor or your building management if they might have received your Dab Rite for you.
